Een piepkleine correctie. Simonos Petras betekent niet ‘rots van Petrus’. Maar ‘rots van Simon’, of zoiets. Jezus noemde Simon bar Jona zijn ‘rots’, ‘petras’ in het Grieks.

Ik vind het zeer boeiend dat ik als vrouw langs deze weg een kijkje op Athos kan nemen.

Ik heb reeds 9 kloosters bezocht bij 3 bezoeken.In september ga ik voor de 4de maal en ga naar koutloumousiou,Agios Pavlou en het nea skite.Het is voorwaar een hele belevenis en het ontroerd mij nog steeds te weten dat ik er weer naar toe mag.
