The fire started near Monoxilitis and was first seen at Proto Nero and spread also in the region of Chilandariou. The monastery itself was spared. The fire spreaded to Ouranoupolis were several houses were destroyed. The photo is taken from the Island of Ammouliani. The lights are from the houses in Ouranoupolis.  More news here.
