A Russian pilgrim visited Karoulia and he shot this amazing film of huts, caves and houses of hermits at “the Desert” of Mt. Athos, a place called Karoulia, a cliff right under the 2033 high mountain. The film is a little bit bumby, but it shows a small area of Athos, which is seldom seen before! Here it is:
