“From each of my visits to the Holy Mountain Athos I took with me a very deep and intense experience,” says Prof. Warlamis. The artist and architect is devoted to the Holy mountain. He calls it ‘his paradise’.
The multimedia exhibition, which was previously shown at the European Parliament in Brussels and in the Byzantine Museum of Thessaloniki and Athens, shows a variety of images of the monasteries, landscapes and monks. The collection of paintings and multi-media productions, a chapel, a prayer room, the chants of the monks and movies reveal a spiritual, inner harmony that is evident on Athos. (text by the museum)
