As you could see on last posts about hiking on Athos I used an Iphone App (MotionX) to record some of the hikes I made. On this site you will find a lot of information about hiking on the Holy Mountain and they offer you a lot of download, to help you find your way with modern equipment. I learned from our reader Fremaki that the Friends of Mount Athos group (FoMA) will go to the Holy Mountain this May and they will try to find (and restore?) the path that we walked last September 2013 just over Skiti Agiou Dimitriou. Keep up the good work, because the monpati’s on Athos should not disappear!
