This has to be one of the oldest images of the Metochi of Chromitsa, roundabout 1875 I think. Watch the windmill on the top left. The mill is without sails. Maybe then already half in ruins.

This is a view taken from the Tsantali bus on the Russian hospital on the right and the building where in the monks live on the left. In the middle of the picture the windmill fully restored with sails.

The windmill is sitll a place where energy is produced. From wind to solar energy!
