Today – the 2th of April – is according to Gregorian calender Good Friday, the day that Jezus is nailed to the Cross. It is a special time on Mt. Athos and the Christian Orthodox world: in the monastery Dionisiou they celebrate this day with this ritual/procession:
On the Holy Mountian they still use the Julian calender, whitch was invented by the Romans. Useally Easter differs a few weeks from the Gregorian calender, but this year Good Friday and Easter are on the same date, so the ritual might take place at the moment that I write this text (00.05 h).
