On the right corner of this print from 1757 you see the monastery of Vasiliou (St. Basil) intact. The fotos above show the same building now in ruins. It is located near Chilandariou.

Pour ce qui concerne les derniers moines russes du skite du Prophète-xc9lie qui était alors sous la juridiction de l’xc9glise orthodoxe russe hors frontières (réunie au patriarcat de Moscou en 2007), l’higoumène x97 l’archimandrite Séraphim x97 se trouve xe0 Jérusalem au couvent russe du Mont des Oliviers ; le père Joannikij (devenu schihiéromoine Ioann) est au monastère grec Saints-Cyprien-et-Justine xe0 Fili ; le moine Benjamin se trouve au monastère russe de Jordanville (USA) ; le P. Nicolas est marié et vit maintenant en Russie.
