The Bystander was a British weekly tabloid magazine featuring reviews, topical sketches, and short stories. Published from Fleet Street, it was established in 1903. Apparently you could send in a photo while showing the magazine when you were visiting remote places. This tourist choose Mt. Athos in 1907.
